  • Business name, legal entity type, and registration details.
  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number.
  • Tax identification number (e.g., RFC, EIN, or equivalent).
  • Payment and billing information (processed by our payment system; we do not store card data).
  • Business photos, logos, and gallery content uploaded to the Platform.
  • Configuration data: operating hours, loyalty incentive rates, terminal settings.
  • Identity documents submitted for compliance purposes (e.g., W-8BEN/W-8BEN-E).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps.
  • Device information: operating system, screen resolution, language settings.
  • Usage data: features accessed, session duration, interaction patterns.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Transaction data from our payment processing system.
  • Pinjoy redemption data generated within the WEENJOY user network.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing your personal data is:

  • Contract performance: processing necessary to provide the Platform services under our Agreement.
  • Legal obligation: compliance with applicable tax, financial, and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Legitimate interests: improving the Platform, preventing fraud, and ensuring security.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Platform and associated services.
  • To process transactions and settle Pinjoy redemptions.
  • To verify your identity and comply with KYC/AML obligations.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
  • To send service-related notifications (non-marketing).
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve Platform features.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

Payment processors: to facilitate subscription billing and Pinjoy settlements. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

Fund transfer platforms (e.g., Wise, Payoneer): solely for the purpose of disbursing settlements to Affiliated Merchants.

Cloud infrastructure providers: hosting and data storage under appropriate data processing agreements.

Legal and regulatory authorities: when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental request.

Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account termination, we retain data for a period of 5 years to comply with applicable tax, financial, and legal obligations. Compliance documents (e.g., W-8BEN forms) are retained for the period required by U.S. tax law. You may request earlier deletion subject to legal retention requirements (see Section 6).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Restriction: request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
  • CCPA rights (California residents): right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale of personal information.

WEENJOY LLC is incorporated in Delaware, USA. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. For transfers from the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to such transfers.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including SSL/TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. Our payment system is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is intended for use by businesses and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete such information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on the Platform and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
